XL Asian Climbing Rattan Palm (calamus guruba)

(XL Specimen, 8” Pot) This slender, clumping, climbing rattan is fairly widespread in Southeast Asia and the Malay Peninsula, where it grows in the rain-forests It is frequently found semi-wild around villages and is popular for its durable canes that have a diameter of about one inch and can reach a length of about 50 feet. It can grow in tropical and some warm temperate areas and needs climbing support in the form of established trees.
