Giant Tree Aloe (aloe bainesii, barberae)

STRIKING! Aloe Bainesii native to more arid climates, this statuesque, beastly, large succulent flowering tree can grow to heights of 50+ feet. Considered a solitary, gray mottled trunk tree it grows forked branches that sport recurved dark green leaves. This tree grows and enormous base that is unbelievable for an aloe up to 3 feet in diameter. The only aloe tree to bloom in pink shades, the racemes branch and are covered in spirals of tubular flowers that range from rose pink to salmon with green-tips. A handsome plant for the drought tolerant garden.
